haha thanks:)... Yeah read it. Its a link to digg.com, but it points back to Two Days Away. 15 diggs so far! You should definately read it. Its far more of a response to "I Can't Believe Its Not Socialism" than this one is.
As for Zach, haha... he can obviously vote for whomever he thinks is the best candidate. This is probably the most significant election this country has ever had. So I hope his conclusion is well researched. :)
haha... yeah... I know, but someone next to me in bio lab was singing "Hit me baby one more time"... so her name just popped into my head as the anti-role-model. haha... and again, she may have supported G dubbya... but McCain is an entirely different candidate (despite what the Media bias would like America to believe)! And I will definitely check out the link below... and give you my (highly valuable) feedback :)
oh yeah... and I've been meaning to tell you that this site is really cool! (Kudos!)
ps. Your brother still supports McCain. :) heh heh heh...
I appreciate the appreciation:). Just for the record, Britney Spears isn't on this list, but she did adimately support George W. Bush in his election. This post was more of "wow its interesting" as opposed to "you should vote for". Although some of the business category endorsers should carry some weight at least as to why they are going that way.
Hey Matthew :) So, while I appreciate the research... I honestly
dont really care what the celebrities think. I mean, am i really
supposed to value the opinions of people who name their children after
pieces of fruit?... People who marry and divorce and remarry as quickly
as the wind changes direction?... people who consistently act
"entitled", or as though they are above all forms of moral and civil
law? Well, I dont know about you, but I'd rather not follow the example of
people like Britney Spears and company. So, the fact that Obama has a
larger following than McCain of this sort of crowd just reaffirms my
support of McCain. With that said, maybe we should be focusing instead
on the type of people our two candidates have been known to associate
with THEMSELVES (ie... Obama's known associations with Hate-speech
peddler Jeremiah Wright... or his support of Bill Ayers... etc...
etc...) This will tell us far more about their character than which
man Lindsay Lohan would rather get drunk and go driving with.
Furthermore, while I do agree that Obama is a charismatic
speaker... this again tells me nothing about his character, or how he
will be as a leader of this great country. For, just as I am not one
to jump on the celebrity bandwagon, I am also not going to allow myself
to be blinded by Obama's "eloquence". After all, was not HITLER also a
fantastic speaker?
That said, I'm still not falling for it! Go McCain! :)
ps... sorry I'd write more, but I'm supposed to be paying attention in biology lab right now....
